BI Consultant

Role

The role is about participating in BI projects and bring business value to our customers. BI is a process enabling organizations to track and manage their performance in order to improve efficiency and profitability. Management reporting and dashboards, analytical CRM and SRM applications are only a small example of popular Business Intelligence uses.

Responsibilities

* Gather the business user requirements for a new solution (define scope);

* Design the solution (in coordination with the project manager and the end-users);

* Potentially build and implement the solution (mostly using one of the technologies we focus on, such as BO, SAS, Oracle, etc.);

* Define the test plan and acceptance criterias ;

* Execute the test plan and qualify the solution;

* Communicate project status and issues and train users.

Your Current Profile

* Degree in Engineering, Computer sciences, Economical sciences, Mathematics;

* At least 2 to 4 years of experience with BI Projects (Datawarhousing, ETL Design, Reporting, Dashboarding, Scorecard, BI Architecture Design ...);

* Knowledge of one of the tools we work with is a serious plus (but not a must):

* SAS (all modules)

* Business Objects (all modules)

* Cognos (all modules)

* Oracle database server

* Oracle BI SUITE (OWB, OLAP, Discoverer...)

* Sybase IQ

* Microsoft SQL Server, reporting services and analysis services

* Demonstrate flexibility and resistance to stress

* Act as a team player and a fast learner

* Understand both the business and technical aspects of your environment

* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and creativity

* Fluent in at least 2 of the following languages: French, English, Dutch

Reporting to the Business Intelligence Director.

The position can be based in Brussels (B), Lille (F) or Paris (F).
